About D’Aprix Marine
Tim D'Aprix is the Owner and Director of D'Aprix Marine Services, based at The Boat Works Marina, located in the largest marine precinct in the Southern Hemisphere.
With over 17 years of industry experience, Tim's career has taken him around the world. Starting out as a marine technician on Sydney's Northern Beaches, he went on to work in the global superyacht industry before earning his AMSA Class III commercial engineer certification, a testament to his dedication and expertise.
Since founding D'Aprix Marine Services in 2017 and relocating to the Gold Coast in 2020, Tim has built a business defined by strong relationships with clients, suppliers, trusted trades and contractors, and the team at The Boat Works. That foundation of trust and reliability has seen the business grow year after year.
Today, D'Aprix Marine Services operates with a skilled team of 12, delivering a comprehensive range of marine solutions including repower and refit projects, major engine overhauls, vessel repaints, antifouling services, and marine engineering across all makes and models. As the team continues to grow, the focus remains the same: bringing a higher standard of service, transparency, and reliability to the marine industry.
